Hanin Beidas has been a lecturer at Oranim College since 2014, teaching a number of courses in the Remedial EFL Teaching Program and in the English Department. She is specialized in teaching English as a Foreign Language and Arabic as a first language to children with learning differences. She has an M.A. degree from Haifa University in Learning Disabilities and a B.A. degree in Neurobiology from Macalester College (U.S.A). Currently, she is a PhD student at Haifa University. Her research focuses on the effects of bilingualisms on children with developmental language disorders. In addition, Hanin previously worked for six years as the coordinator of Arabic Remedial Teaching Program at The Open University. Her work aims to train and empower educators to become reading and language teaching specialists to students with learning differences.
